Morning Thought: Come to Me

Bible Verse:

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." — Matthew 11:28

In John 15:11, Jesus says, "I have told you this..." Jesus teaches us many things so that we may live with joy. One of His most comforting invitations is: "Come to me."

Life can sometimes feel heavy. We carry responsibilities, worries, disappointments, and struggles. Many people begin their day already feeling tired in their hearts and minds. Jesus understands these burdens and invites us to come to Him.

Notice that Jesus does not say, "Solve everything first and then come." Instead, He simply says, "Come to me." He welcomes us just as we are.

When we spend time with Jesus through prayer, reading His Word, and trusting His care, we find rest for our souls. The problems may not disappear immediately, but His presence gives us strength to face them.

A healthy Christian lifestyle begins by staying close to Christ. Before we face the demands of the day, let us first come to Him and receive His peace.

As you begin this morning, take a moment to place your burdens in His hands. Trust Him with your concerns and walk forward with confidence.

With Love

Morning Thought: Do Not Worry Bible Verse: "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life." Matthew 6:25 In John 15:11, Jesus says, "I have told you this..." Jesus teaches us many things so that we may live with joy. One of His simple and powerful teachings is: "Do not worry." Many of us start the day thinking about our work, family, plans, and problems. Sometimes we worry about things that may happen in the future. But Jesus tells us not to let worry fill our hearts. Worry takes away our peace and joy. It makes us focus on our problems instead of God's care. Jesus reminds us that God takes care of the birds and the flowers. If God cares for them, He will surely care for us too. This does not mean life will always be easy. We will still face challenges. But we can face them with faith, knowing that God is with us. Today, do not carry yesterday's troubles or tomorrow's fears. Trust God one day at a time. Let His love give you peace and His ...

Morning Thought: Be the Light Bible Verse: "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden." — Matthew 5:14 In John 15:11, Jesus says, "I have told you this..." Jesus teaches us many things so that we may live with joy and purpose. One of His powerful teachings is: "You are the light of the world." Light brings hope, direction, and comfort. In the same way, Jesus calls His followers to be a light wherever they are. We do not need to do great things to shine. Simple acts of kindness, honesty, encouragement, and love can make a big difference in someone's life. Every morning is a new opportunity to reflect the character of Christ. A gentle word can brighten someone's day. A helping hand can bring hope. A forgiving heart can bring peace. When we live in a way that honors God, our lives become a light to others. The world often focuses on darkness, problems, and negativity. But Jesus calls us to shine with faith, hope, and love...

Bible Verse: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." — John 13:34 In John 15:11, Jesus says, "I have told you this..." Jesus teaches us many things so that we may live with joy. One of His most important teachings is simple: "Love one another." Love is at the heart of the Christian life. Jesus did not ask His followers to simply talk about love. He asked them to live it every day. We show love through kindness, patience, forgiveness, and care for others. Every morning gives us a new opportunity to practice this teaching. We can choose kind words instead of harsh words. We can forgive instead of holding on to anger. We can help someone in need instead of thinking only about ourselves. Loving others is not always easy. People may disappoint us or misunderstand us. Yet Jesus calls us to love as He loved us—with grace, compassion, and patience. A life filled with love reflects the character of Christ. It...
