Bible Verse:
Do not judge, or you too will be judged.” — Matthew 7:1
In John 15:11, Jesus says, “I have told you this…” He teaches us many things so that our lives may be filled with His joy. One of His most practical and challenging teachings is: “Do not judge.”
It is easy to form opinions about others based on what we see or hear. A single mistake, a rumor, or an outward appearance can lead us to make unfair judgments. Yet Jesus reminds us that only God knows the whole story.
This does not mean we should ignore sin or abandon wisdom. Rather, Jesus calls us to avoid a critical and condemning attitude. Before pointing out another person's faults, we should first examine our own hearts and ask God to transform us.
A Christian lifestyle is marked by compassion, grace, and understanding. Instead of judging people, we are called to encourage them, pray for them, and lovingly guide them toward Christ. The same mercy that God has shown us should be reflected in the way we treat others.
Every person is on a journey. Some are struggling silently, some are carrying deep wounds, and others are seeking hope. Our words can either discourage them or help them experience God's love.
As you begin this day, choose kindness over criticism and grace over condemnation. Let your life reflect the heart of Jesus, who came not to condemn the world but to save it.
With Love
