Bible Verse:
Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Luke 6:37
In John 15:11, Jesus says, “I have told you this…” He teaches us many things so that our lives may be filled with His joy. One of His challenging yet life-changing teachings is: “Forgive, and you will be forgiven.”
Forgiveness is not always easy. People may hurt us through their words, actions, or decisions. Our natural response is often anger or bitterness. But Jesus calls us to choose a different path—the path of forgiveness.
Forgiveness does not mean that what happened was right. It means that we refuse to let pain control our hearts. When we forgive, we free ourselves from carrying the heavy burden of resentment.
A Christian lifestyle reflects the character of Christ. Jesus forgave those who rejected Him, and He calls us to show the same grace to others. Holding on to bitterness steals our peace, but forgiveness opens the door to healing and restoration.
Today, think about someone you need to forgive. Pray for the strength to let go and trust God with the situation. A forgiving heart brings peace not only to others but also to ourselves.
As you begin this day, choose grace over anger and love over resentment. You may not be able to change the past, but with God's help, you can choose how you move forward.
Have a great day!
With Love
