Morning Thought: Do Not Worry Bible Verse: "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life." Matthew 6:25 In John 15:11, Jesus says, "I have told you this..." Jesus teaches us many things so that we may live with joy. One of His simple and powerful teachings is: "Do not worry." Many of us start the day thinking about our work, family, plans, and problems. Sometimes we worry about things that may happen in the future. But Jesus tells us not to let worry fill our hearts. Worry takes away our peace and joy. It makes us focus on our problems instead of God's care. Jesus reminds us that God takes care of the birds and the flowers. If God cares for them, He will surely care for us too. This does not mean life will always be easy. We will still face challenges. But we can face them with faith, knowing that God is with us. Today, do not carry yesterday's troubles or tomorrow's fears.
