Raise Lives Daily - June 19

Bible Verse:

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.Matthew 5:9

In John 15:11, Jesus says, “I have told you this…” He teaches us many things so that our lives may be filled with His joy. One of His beautiful blessings is: “Blessed are the peacemakers.”

Peace does not happen by accident. It is built through patience, forgiveness, understanding, and love. In a world filled with arguments, division, and misunderstandings, Jesus calls His followers to be peacemakers.

Being a peacemaker does not mean avoiding every conflict or staying silent when something is wrong. It means responding with wisdom instead of anger, choosing reconciliation instead of revenge, and seeking unity instead of division.

Jesus Himself is the greatest Peacemaker. Through His death and resurrection, He made peace between God and humanity. As His disciples, we are called to reflect that same spirit in our homes, workplaces, churches, and communities.

A simple word of kindness, an apology, a willingness to forgive, or a patient conversation can heal broken relationships and bring hope where there is hurt. When we pursue peace, we become instruments of God's love.

As you begin this day, ask yourself: Am I creating peace or adding to conflict? Let your words build bridges, your actions promote harmony, and your heart reflect the peace of Christ.

With Love

Bible Verse: Do not judge, or you too will be judged.” — Matthew 7:1 In John 15:11, Jesus says, “I have told you this…” He teaches us many things so that our lives may be filled with His joy. One of His most practical and challenging teachings is: “Do not judge.” It is easy to form opinions about others based on what we see or hear. A single mistake, a rumor, or an outward appearance can lead us to make unfair judgments. Yet Jesus reminds us that only God knows the whole story. This does not mean we should ignore sin or abandon wisdom. Rather, Jesus calls us to avoid a critical and condemning attitude. Before pointing out another person's faults, we should first examine our own hearts and ask God to transform us. A Christian lifestyle is marked by compassion, grace, and understanding. Instead of judging people, we are called to encourage them, pray for them, and lovingly guide them toward Christ. The same mercy that God has shown us should be reflected in the way we treat others....

Morning Thought: Be the Light Bible Verse: "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden." — Matthew 5:14 In John 15:11, Jesus says, "I have told you this..." Jesus teaches us many things so that we may live with joy and purpose. One of His powerful teachings is: "You are the light of the world." Light brings hope, direction, and comfort. In the same way, Jesus calls His followers to be a light wherever they are. We do not need to do great things to shine. Simple acts of kindness, honesty, encouragement, and love can make a big difference in someone's life. Every morning is a new opportunity to reflect the character of Christ. A gentle word can brighten someone's day. A helping hand can bring hope. A forgiving heart can bring peace. When we live in a way that honors God, our lives become a light to others. The world often focuses on darkness, problems, and negativity. But Jesus calls us to shine with faith, hope, and love...

Bible Verse: Forgive, and you will be forgiven.  Luke 6:37 In John 15:11, Jesus says, “I have told you this…” He teaches us many things so that our lives may be filled with His joy. One of His challenging yet life-changing teachings is: “Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” Forgiveness is not always easy. People may hurt us through their words, actions, or decisions. Our natural response is often anger or bitterness. But Jesus calls us to choose a different path—the path of forgiveness. Forgiveness does not mean that what happened was right. It means that we refuse to let pain control our hearts. When we forgive, we free ourselves from carrying the heavy burden of resentment. A Christian lifestyle reflects the character of Christ. Jesus forgave those who rejected Him, and He calls us to show the same grace to others. Holding on to bitterness steals our peace, but forgiveness opens the door to healing and restoration. Today, think about someone you need to forgive. Pray for the stren...
