Bible Verse:
For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. Luke 14:11
In John 15:11, Jesus says, “I have told you this…” He teaches us many things so that our lives may be filled with His joy. One of His timeless teachings is: “Whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”
In today's world, success is often measured by recognition, status, and popularity. People strive to be noticed and celebrated. Yet Jesus presents a different path—the path of humility.
Humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself less and putting God and others before your own pride. A humble person is willing to learn, quick to listen, ready to serve, and thankful for every blessing.
Jesus Himself is our greatest example. Though He is the Son of God, He washed the feet of His disciples and came to serve rather than to be served. His life reminds us that true greatness is found in selfless love and obedience to God.
A Christian lifestyle is marked by humility. When we choose to forgive instead of retaliate, serve instead of seek applause, and give God the glory instead of ourselves, we reflect the heart of Christ.
As you begin this day, ask God to keep your heart humble. Let your words be gentle, your actions be kind, and your attitude reflect the grace of Jesus. In God's perfect time, He will lift up those who faithfully walk in humility.
With Love
