Bible Verse:
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.” — John 14:1
In John 15:11, Jesus says, “I have told you this…” He shares His teachings so that our lives may be filled with His joy and peace. One of His most comforting words is: “Do not let your hearts be troubled.”
Life is full of uncertainties. We worry about our family, health, finances, work, and the future. Sometimes the weight of these concerns steals our peace and fills our hearts with fear. But Jesus lovingly reminds us not to allow trouble to rule our hearts.
Notice that Jesus does not say there will be no problems. Instead, He calls us to trust Him in the middle of our problems. Faith does not remove every storm, but it gives us confidence that Christ is with us through every storm.
A Christian lifestyle is built on trust rather than anxiety. When we bring our worries to God in prayer and place our confidence in His promises, our hearts become calm even when circumstances remain difficult.
Every new morning is an opportunity to renew our faith. Instead of beginning the day with fear, begin it with trust. Remember that the One who holds your future also walks with you today.
As you start this day, let the words of Jesus echo in your heart: “Do not let your hearts be troubled.” Choose faith over fear and peace over worry.
With Love
